Texas Triple P Logo

Dear Potential Sponsors,

We invite you to be a driving force behind a pioneering educational initiative that strives to cultivate the world of youth engagement, plant identification, and rangeland evaluation and management. The TX Triple P: Plant Phenology Project is on a mission to harness the power of youth development, citizen scientists, and cutting-edge technology to create more knowledge and enthusiasm among Texans.

Elevating Youth Participation:

Our mission is clear: to foster a thriving community of young Texans who are passionate about plants and the environment. Through the TX Triple P, we’ve recognized the vital need to nurture youth participation in plant identification and range evaluation contests. By supporting us, you help pave the way for a new generation of informed and passionate Texans.

Unveiling the TX Plant App:

At the heart of the initiative lies the development of the groundbreaking TX Plant appโ€”a comprehensive tool designed to empower Texans with a deeper understanding of Texas rangeland plants. This app aims to transcend ordinary plant identification tools by offering its users a comprehensive view of different phenological stages, indicating how to identify the plant and tell the plant apart from its look-a-likes, providing the value or risk of the plant, and offering links to resources to help manage the plant. With this app, enthusiasts will be able to confidently identify plants while exploring the great outdoors, ensuring accurate and informed insights on Texas rangeland plants.

Our Commitment:

๐ŸŒฟ Youth Empowerment: We will create the curriculum and training needed to equip leaders to become coaches and mentors for plant identification and range evaluation contests, bolstering youth participation and fostering their passion for plants in Texas rangelands.

๐ŸŒฟ Citizen Scientist Network: We are committed to developing a strong network of citizen scientists who contribute to the growth and functionality of the TX Plant app.

๐ŸŒฟ Sustainable Rangeland Habitat Management: We have an unwavering commitment to further plant identification and rangeland habitat management education through the development and delivery of educational resources, workshops, and courses to empower managers, landowners, and industry professionals.

Why Partner with Us?

๐ŸŒฟ Impactful Collaboration: Your sponsorship will directly contribute to the empowerment of young plant enthusiasts, to the development of an impactful plant identification app, and to the development and delivery of educational resources that provide ongoing training opportunities for industry professionals.

๐ŸŒฟ Recognition: Gain visibility and recognition as a pioneer in promoting citizen science and youth engagement in the plant identification and range evaluation contests.

๐ŸŒฟ Network Expansion: Join a vibrant community of like-minded individuals and organizations dedicated to cultivating knowledge, empowerment, and the enthusiasm for plants on Texas rangelands.

Your Participation Matters:

We invite you to join us in this remarkable endeavor. Your sponsorship not only fuels a unique blend of education and community engagement but will also create a legacy of knowledge, empowerment, and enthusiasm for Texas plants and rangelands.

To support the development of this project, seed money is needed: TX Plant App development ($120K) and maintenance ($10K), personnel, curriculum development and delivery ($90K). For the first year, we are seeking $220K and then $100K annually for the next 3-4-years.
